This was created for Principals of Multimedia 1. It is from the initial planning stages of a
website. I created this wireframe using Power Point to show the general look and feel of the site.
The theme of the site was for a fictional day care. I felt it was important to use fun vibrant
colors to communicate a child friendly atmosphere. Cheerful but easy to read fonts can also be
used to the same ends. While the color and some details were changed in the final version of the
site the general feel and layout were carried through to the final project.

This image is the completed project for Principals of Multimedia 1. It was a site developed fully
in Adobe Flash using CS5. I used many images and bright colors to create the feel of this site.
I custom created all of the buttons including the one at the top of the page which is a play button
for a video. The button opens a separate page with a custom designed frame show casing an embedded
video. This site also features a song that can be turned on and off from the home page, and a
tuition calculator with a bold custom designed interface. The behaviour of the calculator is
programmed in ActionScript.
